an all new decorated cookie…and painted marshmallow

Some day I’ll fancy up this blog and get some real software like Photoshop and maybe even actually hire a graphic designer or someone with at least a semblance of programming knowledge. But in the meantime, I used the blogspot features, my lacking computer awareness, my limited skills with Paint and Publisher, my scanner and some pen and paper to update the decorated cookie. And I’m still fiddling with the header. Of course, I tend to get bored easily with the style of this blog, so don’t expect these changes to be permanent.

I almost changed the name to “the decorated cookie and the painted marshmallow” as I’m so into my semi-new brainchild (and hence, the picture above, the meeting of cookie and marshmallow). But alas, way too long. Instead, make sure to notice the link on the right to my collection of marshmallow ideas.

Features to note:

Feel free to share (nicely)! While my blog's photographs and text are protected by copyright, I do allow (and encourage) you to share ONE photograph with credit to "the decorated cookie" and link to this blog post. PLEASE don't reprint any part of the blog post and PLEASE don't post a photo without credit. Thank you!

Your blog looks fabulous! I too, get bored easily with my backgrounds and I have changed them a few times over the past few days. Keep yours. It's a winner! :)

I think your blog looks lovely. I'm a web designer and I find the hardest thing is coming up with the ideas in the first place and being creative. You're doing a fantastic job

Very cute! How great that you did it all by yourself! If I tried to do this by myself I would probably wipe out all the content and start crying ~ Great job :)

I love what you have done. I wish I could be able to do it on my own. But just like CC I would wipe everything out
