Hi Mikki, The giveaway is over at Sweet Sugarbelle's blog. I'm not sure about the log-in logistics there. But I would click over to Sweet Sugarbelle's blog and contact her if you aren't able to log in. There's a link for "contact" in the upper right hand corner. She may take your info through email or you may have to register with one of the account types (it's free) to log in. I know generally that logging in is useful so the giveaway winner can be contacted and to protect the giveaway from spam. Hope that helps!

As one who appreciates bargains, Vtay, I'd have snatched those up too. I once did use the dried egg whites (found them in the supermarket and didn't have time to go to Michaels for meringue powder), they DID work. The only difference was that the frosting had a sort of sheen on it, if that makes sense. And the consistency was a little different, but it still worked. Can't remember if I added cream of tartar. I'd check the ingredients and see if it's included already with the dried egg whites.

oops, I forgot to add to measure out the dried egg whites just as you would meringue powder (so 4 Tblsp to 1/2 cup water)

    Hi Meaghan!

Thanks for answering my question down at Sugarbelle's blog. I will definitely try the recipe when I can … maybe sometime in January for my niece's birthday. Thanks for all your help and insight!!! :)
