“Kawaii,” used either as an adjective or as a noun, means “cute” in the context of Japanese pop culture. Type “Kawaii” into Pinterest or Google and you might have to duck down on the floor to hide from all the outrageous adorable-ness. Common uses of this kawaii drawings: Cats, because duh, potatoes (don’t get that one), food, and expressions. Said expressions lend themselves well to marshmallows and edible writers.
