Here’s my oldest “lost” in the maze at the National Building Museum in Washington DC. The maze was built inside the museum and will stay until September 1st. My two loved it, “loved” being an understatement. We must have gone through it about ten times, and yet never memorized the path. Tickets to the maze also let you visit the other exhibits in the museum (also kid-friendly is the building zone). The site itself is impressive enough to host Inaugural balls and other fancy schmancy events. Plus, until the end of summer, after the museum closes you can head to the sideyard for some BBQ and music.
At least one of my three cats would use this DIY cat teepee.
Birthday candle printables to make mini popsicle cakes.
So pretty stretching across the wall, make favor cup paper flowers.
Oh. My. Gosh. Hot dog lovers need to make this DIY wiener dog tray.
Turn a mason jar into an apple jar.
So summery. Watermelon whoopie pie ice cream sandwiches.
Add even more pop: Pop Rocks popcorn.
Paint nature with rainbows.
