Need a super easy way to spruce up your walls? (Or the walls of your kid’s room?) DIY flower vase wall art. This is so simple for anyone to make. All you need is a canvas, a marker, some faux flowers and wire and in minutes you’ll have bright and colorful wall art.

I found all the materials in the craft store, but I’ll include affiliate links here, too. I used two 8 x 10-inch canvases (I got a deal at Michaels, two for $4). Choose any kind of faux flowers you like. You’ll need some good craft scissors to cut off a small piece. I forgot to buy green florist wire, so I just used regular wire, but if you can find the green wire, it will blend in better. Lastly, I used a Sharpie water-based paint marker, but you can use a plain old Sharpie permanent marker too.
Here are some quick video how-tos. Written instructions are below.
how to make flower vase DIY wall art
you will need:
8 x 10 -inch canvas
faux flowers (snip a piece to fit the canvas)
green florist wire
black paint marker or permanent marker
drill with a small bit or a nail
pencil
what to do:
First, draw a vase template on a piece of paper. Trace the template on the canvas with the pencil. Draw the vase with the black marker.
Place the flower on the canvas where you want it positioned. Mark two dots just under the flower at the top of the vase on either side of the flower.
Use a drill with the smallest bit or gently press a small nail through the marks to create two small holes. Thread the wire through the holes, insert the flower, and tighten the wire in the back.
