how to make chocolate yogurt dip
you will need:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (whole milk or non-fat work)
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- dash vanilla extract
variations:
Try using vanilla yogurt instead of the plain yogurt, and omitting the brown sugar.
You can also make this with regular plain yogurt if you prefer it over Greek yogurt.
Stir in a tablespoon or two of peanut butter, if you like. Or, leave out the cinnamon if it isn’t your thing.
what to do:
Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir very well. Serve in the sunflower bowl.
how to make a peeps sunflower bowl
you will need:
- bowl
- chocolate yogurt dip
- Peeps marshmallow chicks
- scissors
tips:
The bowl used here is 5 1/2-inches diameter and 2-inches high. I found this size perfect for the chocolate dip and sunflower, so I suggest using a bowl sized comparably. I used 13 marshmallow chicks for this size bowl.
what to do:
Grease scissors blades with Crisco or butter (optional, but it is very helpful).
Turn the Peeps backwards and snip at the back of the head. Overturn and attach to the bowl upside down, so the snipped part is secured on the edge of the bowl.
The head should be outside of the bowl. Fill the rim.
