how to make air fryer chickpeas
you will need:
- 15 ounce can of garbanzo beans/chickpeas
- Ghee cooking spray or olive oil cooking spray
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
what to do:
Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F for 3 minutes.
Drain and rinse the chick peas. Pat gently with a paper towel. Place in a bowl.
Spray the chick peas evenly with ghee or olive oil. Sprinkle with nutmeg and salt. Stir to coat. Transfer to the air fryer basket.
Cook in the air fryer, shaking the basket occasionally. After about ten minutes, give the chick peas a quick spray with gee or olive oil and an additional pinch of salt.
Chick peas are done when they are brown and crispy, and no longer tender inside, about 15 minutes total.
