Quick and easy St. Patrick’s Day marshmallows
For everyone out there who doesn’t have extra hours to make St. Patrick’s Day decorated cookies, then here’s a treat that takes mere seconds to make: St. Patrick’s Day marshmallows. My favorite last minute treat, dipping marshmallows in water, then covering in sprinkles. Done and done.
how to make st. patrick’s day marshmallows
you will need:*
marshmallows
green edible marker
green sanding sugar or sprinkles
cup of water
lollipop sticks
*You can find green food writers in the craft store, though I use Americolor Gourmet Writers. Find the sprinkles (go for sanding sugar or very fine sprinkles) and the lollipop sticks in the craft store.
what to do:
For shamrocks, simply draw a shamrock and insert stick, if desired. For glittery marshmallows, insert a lollipop stick into a marshmallow. Quickly submerge the marshmallow in a cup of water. Immediately sprinkle sanding sugar or sprinkles over marshmallow to completely coat. Tap off excess and set aside to dry.
