It’s like eating a piece of birthday cake in cookie form. Here, I’m using the same essential recipe for cake mix cookies and adjusted slightly for chocolate cake mix.
To make the cookies, combine a box of chocolate cake mix with vegetable oil and eggs, scoop balls of dough on a cookie tray, and bake.
That’s it. I topped the cookies with rainbow sprinkles before baking because I was giving these as birthday cookies.

- Bake one tray at a time in the middle of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are well set but the center is still a bit soft.
