Christmas tree marshmallow pops are a festive, colorful and easy treat to whip up for the holidays.

I’m all about the marshmallow pops, as you know, so for my guest post over at JavaCupcake, naturally I chose marshmallow pops. Well, I suppose “naturally” would have been decorated cookies, given the name of my blog, but it’s too late to change my name to “the decorated cookie and marshmallow pops and other stuff like that.” So I give you Christmas tree marshmallows.

These Christmas tree marshmallow pops really are quite simple.

Just skewer some marshmallows (I used polka dot straws, but you can use lollipop sticks too), dip in melted red candy melts, and prop in a Styrofoam block.

Once that hardens, melt some green candy melts right in a disposable decorating bag in the microwave, snip a little bit off the tip, pipe the trees and sprinkle immediately with sprinkles.

You can display them at a holiday part by wrapping a Styrofoam block in tissue paper and propping them in there. Or, wrap them in cellophane bags to give as gifts.

I use paper straws here because I like the look of them, but lollipop sticks would be sturdier, so if you’re new to marshmallow pop dipping and decorating, maybe stick with the lollipop sticks.

Pipe any design you like on them. Swirls, polka dots, holly, wreaths, whatever! Find all of the supplies in the craft store. I’ve also included affiliate links below. Enjoy!
