These jelly bean flower cookies on a stick are a cute and easy treat to make for Spring and Easter. Scroll to the end of the post to find the links to ALL the Easter Sweets shared by my fellow bloggers today and to enter the awesome GIVEAWAY!
This post and recipe was created for #EasterSweetsWeek. I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies, but received no other compensation, and all opinions are mine.
I’m back with my next Easter sweet treat for (as we sugar-filled bloggers have declared it) #EasterSweetsWeek.
If you caught my easy bunny decorated cookies, these jelly bean flower cookies are the next Easter cookie idea for you. To make these spring treats, make flower cookie pops, frost with white icing, and let jelly beans do the decorating for you!
how to make a cookie arrangement
Smaller jelly beans work better (such as Jelly Bellies), so the cookies aren’t too top-heavy.
To arrange cookies, I suggest fitting a container with a Styrofoam block, making sure the block is securely in the container.
Insert the cookie pops into the block and arrange Easter grass to cover the Styrofoam.
Ta da! You have an Easter centerpiece and Easter dessert all in one.
Need more fun food ideas for Easter? I have plenty.
how to make jelly bean flower cookies

step-by-step instructions:
Prepare the cookie dough according to the recipe, chill and roll out about 3/8-inch thick. Cut out the flower shapes and insert a lollipop stick. Arrange the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake. Let cool completely.
Prepare the royal icing according to the recipe. Tint the portion you need with white food coloring. Fill a decorating bag with the icing and close tightly with a rubber band. Snip the tip.
Pipe an outline on your flower cookie and pipe to fill. Arrange jelly beans in form a flower. For the center of the flower, cut a jelly bean in half and press the cut side into the icing.
Let the cookies dry overnight.
