Christmas Rice Krispie Treats 3 ways: In a rush this holiday season? 3 ways to turn store-bought Rice Krispie Treats into Christmas goodies.
Christmas Rice Krispie Treats
So lately my kids are all into Rice Krispie Treats, so I’ve been making my mother-in-law buy the big box of them at Sam’s Club, or Costco, or some by-the-bulk place she has near her. Before the kids got into them, I saved a few to make super duper easy peasy Christmas Rice Krispie treats.
store-bought shortcuts
You can, of course, make your own rice krispie treats and decorate them, but since the store-bought ones save you some minutes, I went that route. The Rice Krispie Treats here are the mini ones, but you can use the larger ones, too, or cut the larger ones in half.
Another shortcut: I used store-bought frosting.
If you don’t want to invest in the decorating bags (although, I’ll always invest in decorating bags, I use those them for everything), you can use a Ziploc bag and snip the corner.
I find the freezer-safe ones are best because they are a bit thicker.
So here you go, Christmas Rice Krispie Treats 3 Ways! Written how-tos are below.
