Halloween Rice Krispie Treats
These four easy Halloween Rice Krispie Treats ideas use store-bought rice cereal treats and store-bought frosting… because I know how busy you are. Because I’m busy. All the time. Even when I’m not busy, I’m busy. All of these took minutes (seconds?) to make. If you’d like to turn these into Halloween Rice Krispie Treats pops, just add popsicle or lollipop sticks. (I suggest adding these before decorating.)

Halloween party food
Here, I used a big box of store-bought Rice Krispies Treats and a can of vanilla frosting. Easy peasy, and some supermarkets may even carry everything you need. If not, a trip to the craft store or an amazon order will get you everything else.
how to make easy Halloween Rice Krispie Treats
you will need:*
- Rice Krispie Treats
- tub of frosting
- food coloring
- Candy eyes
- red food writer (optional)
- disposable decorating bags
- couplers and decorating tips, sizes 3 and 4 (optional)
- off-set spatula (optional)
*Here, I used Americolor Soft Gel Pastes (Super Black, Bright White, Orange, Electric Green, Red Red, and Regal Purple.) For the candy eyes, I used two sizes, regular candy eyes and jumbo candy eyes. Find the red food writer online or in the craft store. You don’t reeeeally need this though. You’ll find the decorating bags, couplers and tips at the craft store or in your supermarket. If you like, you can skip the couplers and tips and just snip the decorating bag at the tip. To spread frosting, I recommend an off-set spatula. You may also just use a knife.
what to do:
Divide the frosting and tint the following colors: Black, white, orange, green, red, and purple. Prepare decorating bags (if not using couplers and tips, just snip the bag at the tip) for the black, white, and red. Close tightly with rubber bands.
To make the Jack O’ Lantern Rice Krispie Treat, spread orange frosting on the treat. An off-set spatula is best here, but not necessary. Use the black frosting to pipe the face.
To make the Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treat, spread green frosting on the treat. Pipe black for the hair and mouth. Adhere candy eyes.
To make the Zombie Rice Krispie Treat, spread purple frosting on the treat. Pipe red at the top of the head for blood. Pipe the mouth in black and add some red icing for blood. If desired, draw some red with the food writer on a jumbo eye. Use the red frosting to adhere the eyes.
To make the mummy, pipe white icing back and forth on the treat. Adhere candy eyes.
