Topped with sprinkles, these sparkly mini Christmas cookies are perfect to give this holiday.
mini Christmas cookies
I’m a big fan of the mini Christmas cookies. And of sprinkles.
Mini Christmas cookies fit in cute little tins to give for the holidays, and sprinkles add just the right amount of winter “frost.” Plus, sprinkles cover mistakes, so you can put a check in the “easy cookie decorating” column.

what to do:
Prepare the cookie dough according to the recipe, chill, roll it out, and cut out your shapes. Bake and let cool.
Prepare royal icing according to the recipe, divide, and tint green, brown (just a little, for the tree trunks), white and red for the candy canes, and blue for the snowflakes. Prepare decorating bags with couplers and tips, fill with each color, and close tightly with rubber bands.
To decorate the snowy Christmas tree, use a size 4 tip green and pipe the evergreen. Top with a pinch of sprinkles and pipe the tree trunk with a size 3 tip brown.
To decorate the snowflake, use blue icing with a size 3 tip. Pipe dots around the edges and lines connecting. Cover with sprinkles.
To decorate the candy cane, alternate dots of red and white, using size 3 tips. Top with sprinkles.
When working, add sprinkles every two or three cookies to be sure they will stick. Let the cookies dry overnight before packaging.
