Last archival roundup of the year! And this baby is coming veeeery soon. As in, a couple weeks. As in, you might not hear from me for awhile. I do have some more Christmas treats coming your way, though, through the magic of pre-posting and my nerdish penchant for being over prepared. As always, I’ve collected all the seasonal stuff in that handy button up there called, of all things, “SEASONAL.” Here are a few of my faves from over the years.
I of course need to start with Mr. Melty up there. You’ve heard me gripe about his tale (and if you haven’t, read HERE, when I updated Mr. Melty.) I “invented” the melting snowman cookie way back in 2008. Here’s the original melting snowman cookie. Since then, the cookie has gone viral, without me, as is certainly not uncommon in web-land. I’ve seen versions all over the web, in magazines, everywhere. Sigh. I had to let him go to the world, since it’s kind of hard to claim credit for such things, but it still tugs at the heart a bit when I see how far he’s gone without me. Alas… on to more treats!

Oh Meaghan, I thought of you the other day when I saw a Mr. Melty snowman cookie kit at a store (World Market, I think?). Your idea is so well loved, I just wish people knew it was your idea, *your* genius idea!
Noooo???! Seriously? Kits for sale? Aw, dang, wish I could get a cut of that. Sigh.
