scavenger hunt ideas
Trying to come up with ideas for entertaining kids stuck at home for hours on end? My daughters and I have been making scavenger hunt lists for walking around the neighborhood, and I thought I’d share them all as scavenger hunt printables for you.
My daughters are in elementary (age 7) and middle school (age 12). The nature, neighborhood, and indoor scavenger hunts are best for elementary age, but the “challenge” scavenger hunts are for anyone! My 12 year old wants to be sure you know that the idea for drawing the pictures was hers.

These are for personal use only for moms, dads, guardians, grandparents, teachers, educators, Girl Scout leaders, babysitters… Have fun! However, they may not be copied and used for profit or sale.
how to use the printables
Print the pages on regular, letter-size paper. I’ve included space for kids to draw the images listed before they head out. Unless they need help with the reading part, this should be your moment of escape. They can do this on their own.
Then, grab a clipboard and pencil and walk around the house or the neighborhood and check off everything you find.
For the “challenge” scavenger hunts, use the space to write what you find.

I am a grandmother in Portland , OR trying to figure out things for my 2 middle school grand kiddos.
I write them every week I have created a version of GroceryWars – using 1960 prices 26 items that add up to $20.
They have to find 10 items that add up to $20.
Family food – they have $20 to create and make dinner with dessert for family of 4.
