how to make werewolf cookies
you will need:*
cookie dough
circle cookie cutter
chocolate frosting
powdered sugar
“Grass” decorating tip (this one is #234)
decorating bag
rubber band
candy eyes
*Find the circle cutters, tip, bag and candy eyes in the craft store. For frosting, I just used a can of store-bought chocolate frosting.
First, prepare cookie dough according to the recipe, cut out circles (shown is about 2 inches across), bake and let cool. Scoop the frosting into a bowl and stir in powdered sugar until thick enough to hold its shape. This can take quite a bit, up to a cup of sugar. Prepare a decorating bag with the tip, fill with the frosting and close tightly with a rubber band.
Hold the tip vertically over the cookie, squeeze and pull up quickly. Repeat to cover the whole cookie. Don’t worry if it’s messy, it’s a werewolf. He’s been out carousing all night. Set two eyes in the frosting. And let set.
