Yes, world (by “world” I mean “anyone who used to visit here regularly”), your eyes don’t deceive. The decorated cookie is all new and improved. I have a whole new address, www.thedecoratedcookie.com, and site to match.
It’s the middle of the night and I spent three hours driving with a four-year old tonight, so I’ll fill you in on more details when I get a chance tomorrow. I still have many links to fix and the switchover from blogspot to wordpress may leave some things shifted left or some words un-bolded, and I will update everything (OK, probably just the links) as soon as I can.
A big thank you to the fantastic team over at Aeolidia for all their hard work. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a picture of me on the wall with darts in it since I caused such strife over the last few months!

UPDATE: I’m not sure I can be more articulate as promised, but I did want to share with you some details.Yes, I have a new site! I had the site switched over to wordpress and had a designer create a new look that still evoked the former for continuity. It will take me quite a bit of time to update the links in the pages, so bear with me. I also have some more things to add to the sidebar. I will get used to the changes, and I hope you will, too! But I think this will be much easier to navigate.
I’ve been working with the Aeolidia team for months now. I wasn’t kidding about them having a picture of me with darts in it. I worked customer service jobs for twenty years (from snack bar to bookstore, coffee shop, cookie store, you name it). As a result of being on the other side, I’m usually who you want as a customer. Overly nice, accommodating. I make no trouble. Except for when I design my website. I was the customer you don’t want to get. But they exercised much patience with my over-involvement and ridiculous attention to detail. And I think the hard work paid off! I’m so happy with the new site.
Now the grace period begins where I learn how to use it! Once again, I hope you bear with me as I work out the changes and figure things out. Thank you all!! Oh right, one more thing… My address has changed! All former links should still forward, but the new site is easy peasy to remember now:
