Valentine’s Day from the archives

I have much to love this Valentine’s Day… not just my husband, five-year old daughter and three kitties, but a new baby girl. And my Roku box. Also, Pinot Grigio. Now, mind you, it’s not all lovey dovey cheesy in our house where Valentine’s Day is concerned. I reserve that mostly for the blog. My husband made clear from our first Valentine’s Day together that he does NOT celebrate. And frankly, not feeling the pressure of the day is kind of nice, so I easily accepted this. Sheesh, it’s hard enough coming up with birthday and Christmas gifts for him!

Instead, you all get my hearts and pink and red and Xs and Os. Here are some goodies from the archives, in case you missed them the first or second time around.  As always, you can find the entire collection up there in the SEASONAL button.

All these valentines’ desserts are getting me excited for Valentine’s Day! I adore the romance novel cupcakes they look so realistic! I also love the warm and fuzzy heart cookies! It is genius! I would have never thought to put cotton candy and cookies together! But now that I see it, I realize it looks delicious! Same with the stain glass heart glass cookies! They look so cute and I can’t wait to try and make them! All of these recipes look fantastic!
